NOTE: Optimally, this position will work out of/have a primary workstation in our Delaware office and will be hybrid in-office work of 2 days/week in office and 3 days remote but we are also looking for candidates out of the state of Delaware.


Position Overview:


As an integral part of the Business Development Team at doeLEGAL, a subsidiary of Questel-Orbit, Incorporated this role will focus on discovering opportunities that drive revenue in eDiscovery by coordinating efforts between Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations to create stronger synergies and best practices. This role will work collaboratively in a team environment to assist in successfully delivering our message to potential clients, while focusing on cross-selling and upselling the Company’s portfolio of services to current accounts.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Prospect to uncover new opportunities with corporations or law firms through calling, emailing and other means
  • Work closely with sales reps to find new opportunities
  • Assist in developing a more in-depth “consultative” sales approach, including consistent messaging and information gathering
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives to find new opportunities
    • Automation Tools – email marketing and other campaigns
    • Assist with SalesForce management of leads, contacts, accounts and territories
  • Participate in Sales training
  • May be asked to provide input into the Company’s marketing and business development efforts, with a focus on contributing creatively to our growth
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience working in a high-volume, metrics and performance-driven environment. In addition, any combination of education, professional experience, and training provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:


  • Experience in a high-volume, metrics and quota-driven sales environment required where compensation was primarily commission and bonus-driven
  • Experience in communicating/interacting with C-level and other executive professionals required
  • Experience in technology and/or legal industry required
  • Demonstrated success in a corporate, business-to-business sales/selling environment in eDiscovery required
  • Able to meet performance goals that are both objective (deadlines, activity level, project goals, etc.) and subjective (ability to think on your feet, articulate our message, listen and learn from client input)
  • Willing and able to continue learning our industry and market at an accelerated pace
  • Enthusiasm, versatility, creativity, strategic thinking, self-motivation, business acumen and an entrepreneurial drive required
  • Excellent analytical, organization, written, and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; resilience; grasp of or interest in business concepts and principles
  • Strong writing skills required (experience in corresponding through emails, letters, memos, etc. with executive-level individuals)
  • Ability to think on your feet; strong listening and comprehension skills
  • Proficiency with office/administrative tools; MS Office applications; Internet research; general computer knowledge
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (Salesforce, etc.) highly preferred
  • Prior formal sales training highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in stressful situations
  • Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments
  • Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in a second language, other than English, preferred but not required
